In my family, ice packs are always needed. Between sports and well, just being clumsy, it comes in handy having them around. You can make these at home and they are always ready.
3 parts water (1 1/2 cup)
1 part rubbing alcohol (1/2 cup)
in sandwich bags or I prefer the food savor bags so that they are sealed really well.
I also add food coloring to them so that you will know they are not ice. Leave in freezer so they are always ready in case you need them.
