Peanuttttt…….Peanut butter!!!!

We love peanut butter at our house but hate what’s in the store brands. I will buy the organic if I need it but prefer to make my own. I actually stopped doing this for awhile and decided to go back to it. The best thing about homemade is that there are three ingredients. That’s it!
1 can of shelled raw or roasted unsalted peanuts (you can also use unshelled and shell them yourself but to me that is too time consuming)

1 1/2 teaspoons peanut or vegetable oil ( you made need more depending on texture)

Salt (this will depend on each person) optional

Sugar (again this will depend on each person and if they like sweeter peanut butter) optional
In a blender, grind up peanuts until they begin to clump. Stop machine and scrape down the sides. Once they are blended to the consistency that you want, add the oil. Blend again if you can, if not the scrape into a bowl and blend by hand. I use mason jars to store it. Store in the fridge or up to two months.
