Ok soft soap is probably in almost every home. If you have kids, then there is a chance that you go through almost a bottle a week. I found that I can make it at home for a lot less money. It doesn’t take much time and the recipe actually makes quite a lot.

3 bars of your favorite soap ( I prefer an organic soap or kicks Castile soap)

6 cups water ( I found that well water doesn’t work as well)

1 teaspoon glycerin
Grate soap into a shredded cheese consistency. In a medium saucepan add two cups water, and the grated soap. Cook on low until soap melts. Add remaining water, glycerin until blended. Let cool a bit and add about 10 drops of your favorite essential oil. Funnel into a glass jug. I usually shake it up before I funnel it into my soap containers.
