Monday is here and the week started off great…then BAM! The slow roll to STRESS TOWN! You know what I am talking about! When the dull, throbbing headache, neck ache, and then laying your head in your hands and begging Friday to get here quickly.
We tend to allow stress to take over. We become overwhelmed and then almost angry because more things get thrown at us before we can even finish what is right in front of us. This usually cause a downward spiral until we are so stressed that we get so excited for Friday. Then if the weekend didn’t go as planned, we have a new set of stress.
Emotions dominate us whether we want to believe it or not. This is why learning to work with our emotions, releasing stress, and being grateful for every moment is key to a healthier, more productive life.
Last year someone introduced me to an amazing app, and I have since shared with everyone I know. Its called the Insight Timer app. This app is your all in one meditation app. There are so many different meditations, along with live classes that you are sure to find some you love. You can join groups, follow teachers to love, watch a live meditation and there is also a paid version that opens up extras for only around $60.00 a year which equals out to about $5 a month.
At first, I wasn’t sure how I was going to like it because it seemed overwhelming. But it didn’t take me long to figure it out and find the meditations I love. I am still trying new ones. It also tracks your data and you can earn stars as you meditate. Each person will be different in the teachers they like, but here are a few of mine:

There are a million more on there and many others I love but too many to list! So if you have problems sleeping, stressed, have anxiety…….you may really enjoy this app and if you are a pretty content person…..you will still love this app! Lol
